Because community health workers work.

At Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC) we’re making professional community health workers (proCHWs) the norm worldwide by changing guidelines, funding, and policy. The result? Professional CHWs who are salaried, skilled, supervised, and supplied. And quality care for all, including those who provide it.

2023 was a big year towards this shared vision. We generated high-impact research to equip norm setters with evidence to create proCHW guidelines. We influenced global financing institutions to increase proCHW funding. And we mobilized in-country networks that demand national proCHW policy.
